For centuries the human form has been used by artists to convey emotion, tell stories, record moments and people in time and study the art of drawing. The focus of this exciting 3 day workshop will be centered on learning a step by step method for creating a figure drawing. Students will learn how to interpret the interaction between light and form and articulate what they are experiencing visually through drawing. Focus will be given to composition, understanding of the function of light, technical aspects of creating a drawing, materials and human anatomy. During the 3 day, long pose, students will have ample time to create a beautiful figure drawing and will learn in depth information that only long pose drawing can reveal. |
